Fashion phototgraphy

1When is an image a Portrait? When is it a fashion photograph? Are the two the same?

It is a Portrait when they had interest on heads, shoulder and neck because the interest is on the personality of the model to see who they are. like it’s continue using the ID, passport, visa and other forms when you applying where ever you wanted.
Portrait is to use by everyone who are not getting any touch with media, with all the smart phones. In Portrait you would only like to see the person face. In 20th century…..

It is a Fashion photograph when they had interests on chosen designed clothes and models self-personality from real life performance. 

2. To what degree should an image manipulated to go into a fashion magazine?

In the film the following manipulations occur?

How about manipulations to the photos before they are taken, models, Makeup, sets clothes?


At American Vogue Anna Wintour, editor, and Grace Coddington, creative director, worked together for years and they have discussed the location together to choose which clothes would be better for the fashion Magazine page. Also they were choosing the skinniest models for the clothes they want for future fashion.

After companies have taken the commercial photos of models they change the models face, eyebrows moved upwards from eyes, they contrast the picture, warp the neck look longer and look skinny, brightening the models hair and sharping the hair look wavier.

The bad thing is manipulated the models picture is to change the models face, eyebrows, lips and neck to make its look like fake model and looks not the same picture from the original models picture. 
It’s bad because when the pictures around the world people going to feel bad about them-self and thing they are Fat and too ugly to be in that frame of fashion and effect in the meaningless was to make them self to be skinny and they start dangerous diet and end with death, but the biggest problem that Manipulated pictures can make people change completely their self by surgeries doing their face, lips, eyebrows, Big boob surgeries, and skin color.

The good thing of manipulated the models picture is to change the models hair look brighter sharpens to look more wavy.

3. Is there a clash between the creative and commercial side of fashion Photography?

What clashes occur in the film between the creative and commercial?
The editing room was the purpose argument is for the company’s future and to make audience can follow the world fashion to earn more money.

I say the company’s commercial wins.
